Since the 1950\u2019s the Conti family has been committed to preserving and protecting this precious heritage through sustainable agriculture, winemaking, organic extra virgin olive oil and organic stone-ground flour. Our winery came to life in the middle of the post-war period in Romagna.<\/p>\n
In the 1950s<\/strong> there were very few women winemakers and Antonietta Conti<\/strong> was one of them. It was Antonietta who encouraged the conservation of a small but important indigenous vine, Centesimino. An ancient varietal that escaped the phylloxera blight sheltered within Faenza\u2019s walls, Centesimino has lots of personality. Aromatic and suave, it is one of the foundations of our winery along with other native grapes and traditional varietals.<\/p>\n In 1989<\/strong>, Leone Conti<\/strong> tooks the reins of the family business.
